Ed brings 30 years of power electronics business development to NEP with history at GE Power Systems, Emerson Electric and Celestica Power Systems. He was VP-GM at Advanced Energy and created their inverter business unit, reaching #1 share in America. Most recently Ed co-created CPS America, building the business and team to a market leading position. He has a Stanford MS Management graduate degree.

Jing is the original creator of NEP and the lead executive for customers, applications engineering and company operations. Jing’s 30+ year career in power electronics provides the foundation for NEP including GE R&D in New York and Schneider/Xantrex in Asia and North America. He has a Ph.D from the University of British Columbia.
Chief Technology Officer, Co-Founder
Fan leads NEP product technology development in the USA and Asia bringing 10 years of Motorola R&D experience. Fan participated in 37 US patents and is an inverter and data-communications expert for NEP. Fan has a Ph.D from Purdue University.
With 10 years of solar inverter and data-communications experience, Casey is a founding Board Member helping NEP product and business strategy. Casey was co-creator and builder of CPS America inverter solutions, reaching #1 market share in the USA. Previously Casey was a key leader at PVPowered, Advanced Energy and HP. He has a Stanford MS graduate engineering degree.
Tom has recently joined the NEP team with the belief that solutions should be simple and reliable. Tom’s role with NEP will focus on the positive promotion and widespread market adoption of NEP’s products and values. Prior to joining NEP, Tom has spent over 10 years at Invaleon Technologies Corp. as founder-CEO where he started with a $100K investment to $50MM annual revenue. Under Tom’s leadership, Invaleon was able to evolve from a 4-person start-up to having over 300 employees. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. More importantly, Tom enjoys exploring for EV chargers and takes care of over 100 exotic fish.”
Deputy General Manager
A long-time power electronics executive driving business development at industrial automation and renewable energy industries, and partnerships for NEP globally. Most recently Mr. Han has been a key executive for Chint Power Systems and prior role included business development for international companies, TMEIC from Japan, KEB and LTi from Germany.

Joe is Pomona College graduate with degrees in Political Science and Economics. He played water polo and was a member of the Student Athletic Advisory Committee. Now he is a Litigation Analyst at Munger, Tolles, and Olson LLP in San Francisco and worked on Capitol Hill where he learned about the inner workings of our government and how collective action, at both small and large scales, can catalyze great change. “I am super excited to be joining the NEP team as a B-Corp Advisor, and I greatly look forward to the opportunity to offer advice into how NEP can make a difference in the immediate area and broader community.”
Our intern has been converted to full-time employee of NEP America. James will help build partnerships and new customer relationships.
