What is Personal Information?

We may automaticallycollect some information when you visit our Site such as the site from whichyou linked to us, and the time and date of your visit, purchases, andactivities. We also collect information received from third parties to theextent that they have represented that they have entered into an agreement withyou for connectivity of the NEP products to our monitoring platform. NEP doesnot knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of 16,and you must be 18 years of age or older in order to establish an account on the Site.
Use of Personal Information
The PersonalInformation we collect is used to process your requests or transactions, toprovide you high quality service, to customize the Site according to yourpreferences, and to tell you about specific goods or services we believe willbe of interest to you. If you prefer not to receive promotional informationfrom us, we make it easy for you to let us know. You can contact us at any timeto decline promotional information (see under the heading “Choice” below).
Sharing of Personal Information
NEP does not sell orrent Personal Information to third parties without your prior consent. NEP doesnot share or disclose Personal Information to third parties without your priorconsent, except in the limited circumstances described below under the heading“Disclosures”.

NEP has put into placesecurity measures in an effort to protect Personal Information from loss,misuse, or alteration while it is under our control. Personal Information wecollect is stored electronically. We use technical, contractual,administrative, and physical measures in an effort to protect againstunauthorized access.
Account information isaccessible online only through the use of a password. To protect theconfidentiality of Personal Information, you must keep your passwordconfidential and not disclose it to any other person. If other people haveaccess to your email, they may be able to obtain access to your password andobtain Personal Information about you or change information about your userprofile.

Aggregate Information
Personal informationdoes not include “aggregate” information. Aggregate information is data wecollect about a group or category of products, services or customers, fromwhich individual customer identities have been removed and a specific personcannot be identified through such information. Aggregate information is alsoany information or data that we collect from inverters and power optimizerswhich are available to you via the NEPViewer Monitoring Platform. In otherwords, information about how you use a service may be collected and combinedwith information about how others use the same service, but no PersonalInformation will be included in the resulting data. Likewise, information aboutthe products or services you use or purchase may be collected and combined withinformation about the products and services used or purchased by others, but noPersonal Information will be included in the resulting data. Among others,aggregate data helps understand trends and customer needs so that new productsand services can be considered and so existing products and services can betailored to customer desires.
NEP appreciates the importance of safeguarding the privacy of your PersonalInformation that may be provided to us. NEP does use and disclose de-identifiedaggregate information, for the purposes of evaluating and improving ourservices and tailoring our products and for commercial purposes. NEP may chooseat its sole discretion to transfer, sell, provide, or share such informationwith third parties, including to NEP’s business partners for commercialpurposes.
